Brightling Park Horse Trials are held in the beautiful Sussex parkland which surrounds the manor house, called Rose Hill when owned by John "Mad Jack" Fuller.
Brightling Park Horse Trial entrants compete in three different phases: Dressage, Cross-country and Show Jumping. Four different levels of riders are represented: Pre-novice, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. In the past, over 400 horses have competed, many are from Southeast England.

"Brightling Park is situated in East Sussex between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings. It is owned by brothers Gardie and Henry Grissell. It consists of 500 acres (162 hectares) of parkland in one of the most beautiful and picturesque areas of the South East of England. Henry is a professional farmer and runs the agricultural enterprises on the estate whilst Gardie runs the equine departments"
